What does importance mean?

Importance indicates how strongly your preferences affect the match.

Dealbreaker means you will only be matched with someone who selects one of your allowed answers for that question.

Important means that you're willing to be a little flexible, but you'd still prefer that your match selects one of your allowed answers.

Nice to have means that you don't mind much if your match selects an answer outside of your allowed answers for that question.

What are preferences?

Preferences are allowed answers that indicate which answers you would like your match to select for a question. You can select multiple preferences for each question.

For example, if you have a question about favorite colors with answers Red, Blue, and Green, and you select Red and Blue as your preferences, then you would prefer that your match selects either Red or Blue for that question.

What is "You"?

"You" refers to the answer that you select for a question. This is the answer that represents your own preference or opinion on the topic of the question.

In general it is a good idea to pick the most honest answer that most represents you.
